How to Prepare Coffee:
- Fill the base with water just below the safety valve, ensuring it’s not overfilled. Too much water can cause bitter, burnt coffee due to excess heat.
- Insert the funnel and loosely fill it with espresso grounds, avoiding tamping the coffee down.
- Firmly screw the top onto the base and place an espresso cup under each spout.
- Heat the moka pot on low to medium heat. For gas hobs, adjust the flame to prevent it from reaching the sides of the pot.
- In 3-6 minutes, your coffee will be ready. Once the pot is full, remove it from the heat to avoid boiling and bitterness.
- Disassemble and hand wash in warm water. Suitable for gas, electric, and ceramic hobs. Not for induction hobs unless used with a Bialetti Induction Plate.
